The Stork Has Arrived

Well, our little bundle of joy has arrived. Lauren Michelle was born at 8:01 am on Monday February 4.

Just after birth, Daddy got to give Lauren a quick bite to eat....

Later in the day, Lauren got her first visitors... There was Grandma Mckee...

Here she is with Aunt Valerie:

And her Aunt Julie too....

And of course, Lauren's first day would not be complete without a visit from her two big brothers!

Last day at Nicole's

Our last day at Nicole's daycare was November 30. We were excited to be starting a new school, but sad to leave Nicole.

The Reptile Zoo

We visited the Reptile Zoo in Monroe, WA. There were so many cool animals, but boy were we glad they were all behind glass.

Colin really liked the turtles and the Black Throated Monitor.

It was funny because Colin kept telling the Black Throated Monitor to get in the bath tub and we actually got to see it climb down off its log up by the window and come down into the tub. It actually got in and out of the tub a few times.

And last of all, here are two funny turtles...and yes the one on the bottom is a two headed turtle.

Halloween

Here are some pictures of us getting ready for Halloween.

First we have the pumpkin patch. We invited Grandma and Grandpa to go along with us. It was a beautiful day and we had a fun time. There were animals to see, a kid maze to run through, a hay ride and lots of pumpkins in the pumpkin field.

Then we got to color and carve our pumpkins.

Final product:

And finally...our Halloween costumes. Jordan the pirate and Colin the parrot.

Jordan pictures to come.

Since we have posted several pictures of Colin, it's only fair that we put up more of Jordan...those to come soon.

Ok...ok...yet two more...

Donna reminded me of these two pictures that are absolutely priceless. Believe you me, checking on the boys has truly become a daily joy.

I happen to like this one...could it be that our boy is learning to become a superhero in his sleep???

One More

We forgot this picture...right after Colin started sleeping in his new bed, both Donna and I have had the pleasure of learning about the many positions in which he likes to sleep. I keep thinking one of these days we'll find him sleeping UNDER the bed.

By the way, for the record, I have also learned that tucking the blankets under the mattress also has little affect in keeping him in bed =)
